MONTE is a Preferred Partner of Ampaire, and has a firm order for 25 hybrid-electric aircraft (Eco Caravan) and an option over another 25 Eco Caravans.
Ampaire, based in Los Angeles, was formed in 2016 and is developing low emission hybrid-electric aircraft to decarbonise the aviation industry.
Ampaire has partnered with major OEMs to replace conventional engines with low-emission technologies. By pairing their innovative technology with proven airframe designs, they reduce risks and maximize benefits for their customers.
Ampaire flew the first hybrid-electric test platform in 2019, a test flight in November 2022 and a 12-hour record endurance flight of its hybrid-electric Cessna Grand Caravan (the Eco Caravan) in December 2023, making it the market leader in hybrid-electric aviation.
